Christmas Eve Pajamas

Ice Skating (December 22, 2009)

We got the chance to go ice skating with friends a couple of times before Christmas. The kids seemed to pick up on it pretty quickly and always had a lot of fun. It is always nice to get out and enjoy the crisp December air and help use up some of the excited energy the kids have pinned up for Christmas.

We also went to the Ward Christmas Party on the 16th.

December is definitely a busy month.

I was surprised that Talon went right to Santa. Most of my kids have been scared to death of him. Azurdey wouldn't go anywhere near him so no picture of her :(

Kyle took a little coaxing, doubt that next year even a bag of Christmas goodies will get him there.

Kyle's 11th Birthday

Kyle celebrated his 11th birthday on Dec. 16th.

Kyle wanted a Percy Jackson cake for his birthday. I told him he should design it. This is what he came up with. (I should scan in his drawing). This is a scene from the 2nd book. Kyle loved the series and wouldn't read anything else until he had read all the books twice.
